Hi! My name is Catherine and I am really excited that you have decided to come meet me.

Since I was a child, my family spent most of our vacations on the road traveling somewhere. There was rarely a time we were not either traveling or planning to travel. School would get out and my mom would be piling my two brother’s and I into our GMC conversion van to head out on an adventure into the Smokey Mountains or to the beach. Colonial Williamsburg was a favorite Christmas haunt, we learned how to use timeshare well and road trips were a favorite. One of my mom’s favorite things to do along the way was take pictures. She was always teaching us how to look for different ways to photograph things, from lighting to coloring to angles.

As I have grown, photography has become a natural hobby and now profession. I am always looking for moments to photograph. My favorite are life moments with people and nature. I love capturing the soul of the person or the place I am in. Though people and nature are my favorite, I certainly have grown in my skills, adding architecture, food and other creatives. I hope you enjoy my photographs.
